BQ25890H: ILIM pin resistor value

Part Number: BQ25890H

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

we're using ILIM resistor 260 ohm to limit the input current 1.5A. it is just followed example of datasheet.

when I calculated with provided formula 9.2.12 since we enabled ILIM pin, charging current should be less than 1.5A but there were cases like 1.6, 1.7A.

why is there difference happened?

and for KILIM value what value should be used? in the table of 8.5, value is not fixed, typical one is 355 (A x Ω). but to see 1.5A limit, we should apply MAX value of it 390.

isn't it a normal way to apply the typical value of this? why we should apply max value to see the exact limit value?

Thank you in advance,

Hyeontaek
