Dear Sirs,

I have a question regarding sync pin of LMQ644A2-Q1. When device configured for single output dual phase and pull up to 12A,How to achieve the average current of each phase?Will there be a phenomenon where one phase current is 2A and the other phase current is 6A?

Hi Evan,

You can measure the average current of each phase by measuring the current of each inductor.

In terms of current balancing, this is not a datasheet specification that is tested for, but the two phases will be as close to equal to each other as possible. We would not expect the current to be as imbalanced as 6 A on one phase and 2 A on the other in a signal output configuration.
