TPS650330-Q1: check the power-on sequence and power output programming

Part Number: TPS650330-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Sir,

My customer is asking the TPS650330-Q1 if it can support the below figure mentioned the power-on sequence and power output programming?

They would like to design in the FPD-LINK camera module, how to program these functions?

  • Hi Henry,

Yes; TPS650330-Q1 can support the configurations mentioned in above table, but we don't have an existing OPN to meet the settings.

Please work with your local TI sales and FAE to request an new OPN; and then our PME can approve if your business case meets our requirement.

    Thanks!

    Phil

  • Hi Sir,

In the SerDes system, the default power rail have 1.1V(vcore) and 1.8V(I/O) on the SerDes IC for the I2C communication. May I know to select which the configurable device from the TPS6503xx-Q1 series?

  • Hi Henry,

We have a few configurable devices from the TPS6503xx-Q1 series, but no one meets these requests: 1.1V(vcore) and 1.8V(I/O); Buck1 output > 3.5V for 3.3V LDO output.

Please work with your local TI sales and FAE to request an new OPN; and then our PME can approve if your business case meets our requirement.

    Thanks!

    Phil

  • Hi Sir,

    Thank you for your advise.

My customer also found the TPS65033208-Q1 with non-configurable device it can meet this output voltage requirement. How to set the 0.25m-sec delay to meet the power-up sequence?

  • Hi Henry,

As you've stated the TPS65033208-Q1 is a non-configurable device; so, there is no way to set the 0.25m-sec delay.

Also, FYI; the device min delay is 0.5mS; 0.25mS is not available.

    Thanks!

    Phil
