TPS2663: TPS26630 SHDN feature and Turn-on Control timing

Can we use SHDN pin for output control ?

I think below. Is that right?

Vin is constantly 24V. When SHDN pin to 0V, then Vout turn off.

Then SHDN pin to 5V, then Vout turn on.

At this time we need not turn off to turn on Vin.
