D6, D7 are the two rectifier diodes that are necessary for any forward converter output. D6 conducts in the forward direction (power transfer) and D7 conducts as a freewheeling diode (primary switch is in OFF state, similar to the switching behavior of a non-isolated buck converter). This is the correct configuration for the bootstrap bias winding to provide VDD/PVDD bias to the UCC2897A.
