TLV760: TLV76015 Damage issue

A 100uF 35V electrolytic cap is connected at both input and output of the regulator. This issue is observed only on some of the boards and not all.

What is the input voltage? What is the load current of the LDO?  Can you provide a schematic?

Input Voltage in the range of 15 to 18 Volts, LDO load current is maximum 20mA.

Can you provide an oscilloscope plot of Vin and Vout with the 20mA load on the output of the LDO? I wonder if Vin is collapsing under the load, causing Vout to also drop.

Hi stephen I tried by changing the load. At first it was some electronic circuitory. But for test purpose i connected resistove load. Now the regulator seems to be working fine. I will need to check the circuit also. As it is working with some regulators and not working with some.

No load waveform, Blue is Vinput, Green is Vout

30mA resistive load, Blue is Vin, Green is Vout, Yellow is load current

This is just for reference but i noticed there is actually some reverse current flowing from the load to the regulator.
