Dear e2e support,

Can we elaborate a bit more on the failure mode of our TPS22919?

In case of failure, does-it go into short circuit, open circuit, high impedance, ...?

    Hi TISL,

    Can you please tell us which failure condition is your primary concern.

    Mostly the device damage results in FET not turning on so open connection but in some scenario damage can also cause permanent short. 

    In conclusion, it is not possible to tell what will happen. It mostly depend on the internal block which got damage.
