REF35-Q1: How to understand Hysteresis spec of cycle 1 & cycle 2?

Part Number: REF35-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Teams,

How to understand Hysteresis spec of cycle 1 & cycle 2?

Why the cycle 2 will perform much better than cycle 1?

BRs,

Marsh

  • Hi Marsh,

Thermal hysteresis is the stress on the die of the device when the temperature is cycled. This stress causes the output voltage of the series reference to shift. By cycling temperatures of the device during operation you can force the device to "settle" and reduce the hysteresis. The first cycle is essentially the shock cycle where most of the settling occurs.

    Thanks,
