TPS7H5005-SEP: TPS7H5005-SEP

Part Number: TPS7H5005-SEP

Tool/software:

Hi,

Is it possible to control TPS7H5005-SEP by using external voltage control op amp instead of using its internal transconductance amplifier? Where to connect the output of external voltage controlling op amp? And how to connect comp-, ss- and vsense-pins?

Regards,

Jukka

  • Hey Jukka,

You can force the COMP pin of the device to use your own input.
Please make sure that the maximum voltage of the pin is respected

We generally suggest placing the VSENSE close to the voltage reference so the error amp will not fight as much.
Having a small capacitance on the SS pin would be ideal

    Thanks,
    Daniel
