TLC5922: Inquiry on max current per channel of TLC5922

Hi, TI expert.

I have a question about max current per channel of TLC5922.

According to the datasheet, Imax is confirmed to be 80mA for 16CH (OUT0~OUT15).

Q1) Does this mean that max current can be used for each channel up to 80mA?

Q2) Also, TLC5922 is an old part. Are there any plans to discontinue it?

Q3) And if there is another device with the same specs, please recommend it.

    I noticed that you posted another e2e, do you want to use TLC5922 to meet your requirements on another e2e? If not, please help to provide your requirements like another e2e and I will help to find a suitable device for you.

    This post is about LM3150, which is a completely different question.

    The one that says TLC5922 is a typo.

    The question I want to check the most right now is item Q1.
    Q1) Does this mean that max current can be used for each channel up to 80mA?

    Yes, it's correct, the max current can be used for each channel up to 80mA.

    Based on your current requirements above, I think TLC59116 might be a better option to you. Please let me know if there are any other requirements or if you have any questions.
