I am trying to use TPS61165 IC. I am using this IC for LCD Back light control, Which has 27 LED (3S ,9P).

Required LCD backlight forward voltage: 9.6V (Typ)

Required LCD backlight forward Current: 180mA (Typ).

Based on that how to set output Voltage for Back light to run smoothly.

How IC will set output voltage based on requirement?

Hi Kaushik,

Since it's 3 strings, TPS'61165-Q1 is only single channel device. Would you like to use LP8869-Q1 for 3 strings?

I am trying to use part #TPS61165DRVT, In this datasheet which has application of nine strings of 3 LEDs.

I notice you also ask in the non Q1 thread. Are you using for automotive application or not?
