Hi Team,
Our customer "Mesi Medical" is working on a thermometer module where on the power side they are using
- BQ25100HYFPR charger for battery.
- BQ27427YZF battery gauge placed between the charger and battery.
- BQ298015RUGR Battery protection.
- TPS62743YFPR buck converter.
- LP5812AYBHR LED driver.
They had a question regarding the BQ25100HYFPR.
- Is there any option to have both CHG status and PRE-TERM pin? Basically the same charger in larger BGA package that combines functionality of BQ25100 and BQ25101.
- The charger is tied to battery, which powers the system (LED driver and buck converter). Sometimes it happens that charger gets stuck in pre-charge state because system sucks up all the power. We increased pre-charge current which reduced likelihood of this stuck state but it did not completely solve it.
