LP5810: Differences between the registers implemented in the LP5810 and LP5813

Hi,

According to the URL below, the answer was "For the LP5810 register map, please refer to the LP5813 register map document."

https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1341344/lp5812-detailed-registermap?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=LP5812%2520detail%2520register%2520map

When comparing "9 Register Maps" in the LP5810 datasheet with the LP5813 register map document, the contents of the registers seem to be different.

Please let me know if there are any differences between the registers implemented in the LP5810 and LP5813, or any points to note when setting the LP5810 registers using the LP5813 register map document.

Thanks,

Conor

  • Hi Conor,

Can you please tell me where is the different?

    Actually, LP5810 doesn't have the TCM structure so, please ignore the register about configuration of A0, A1, A2, B0, B1, B2, C0, C1, C2, D0, D1, D2.

    BR, Jared

  • Hi Jared,

Are the contents of registers the same other than A0, A1, A2, B0, B1, B2, C0, C1, C2, D0, D1, and D2? In other words, is it okay to use the LP5813 register information other than those listed above as a reference when developing the LP5810? I'm concerned that there are slight differences between the LP5813 and LP5810 registers that could cause problems.

    Thanks,

    Conor

  • Hi Conor,

    Yes, it's okay to use the LP5813 register information except the info about A0, A1, A2, B0, B1, B2, C0, C1, C2, D0, D1, and D2.

I will update the LP5810 register map ASAP.

    BR, Jared
