Part Number: BQ25756
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25758

Tool/software:

Application requirement:

DC side: DC 9V~60V

Battery Side:1~14cell LiOn battery

Mode:

1. Charger mode: 9~60V DC input, charge to 1~14cells battery, Charge current need to be adjustable from 0~20A

2. Bidirection output, 1~14cells input, DC 9~60V output. The current of battery can be contain with adjustable.

Can it be achieved?

  • Hello,

Yes, this is possible with the BQ25756. With the BQ25756, you'll need to use a digital potentiometer to control the battery feedback voltage. You can use I2C commands or a potentiometer to adjust the charge current.

Since you have such a large voltage range, you can also use the BQ25758 DC-DC converter. The 758 can vary the output voltage and output current through the help of I2C commands.

Let me know if you have any other questions about this.
