I am designing 10S  BMS using bq769xx for monitoring and balancing ...

1. Which is ideal design - 76930 with all 10 cells/pins used or bq76940 keeping extra pins shorted as given in datasheet

    Hello Saptarshi,

    For 10 cells, I would recommend a device that is 10s.

    I would recommend to use the BQ76942 instead, as this is a newer generation device with high-side FET drive, better accuracy, and more features.
