Hi Expert,

GPIO For Thermistor Inputs (NTC) , do we need design 1:1 (NTC : GND) for layout trace routing or we can use multiple NTC pins to share one ground?

Is there any relevant documentation?

Hello Alex,

You can use multiple NTC pins sharing the same ground. You must ensure that the each have a separate GPIO, and if there are any filtering components, these must be placed as close as possible to the IC.

Hi Luis,

Do you mean we can move filtering components from Multiplexers(TMUX1308) ouput to input (close IC side) ?

Becasue we use same GPI to switch 8 times and filtering components just need colse BQ79616.

This means we can save more space on duplicate parts and ground pin . it's right?

Hello Alex,

I believe placing after the MUX close to the IC is okay. Both would likely be preferable.

I do not quite the concern here, all of the NTC's would be referenced to the same ground at all times, so they would always be sharing the same ground.
