BQ25770G: BQ25770G dual phase control

I have some questions of using BQ25770G.

We need to apply 28V PD power input, but our system might consumpt only about 60W~70W.

So, we want to reduce the layout area and limit the max input power maybe about 28V/3A

Could we just use only PHASE-A? That is, could we delete all of the items mark in figure?

If we could delete the items, should we leave these pins floating or short to gnd?
