Dear TI expert,

  I have pack that after test, it can't communicate through SMBUS, but the pack can charge and discharge, the FETs can be controlled by BQ20Z75.

  what's the possible reason for this performance? how to locate the failure and find out the cause?

    The first step is to check SCL and SDA with a bus sniffer to see what's happening on the bus. Next is to analyze the data from this sniffer to see if there's any problem either with the protocol or with logic levels.

    How did you check that the FETs can be controlled by the gauge?  just them being on doesn't mean much, only that the gauge drives the FETs.
