Tool/software:
Hello,
we want to use the TPS922055 for the illumination of a camera. Currently we have a testsetup with the eval kit TPS922055DRRREVM. For this case we need a high resolution from the LED-driver as well as a short exposure time of 100 μs. The exposure time is triggered by an external trigger (in the diagram shown as clock). Another problem is the standby time, because the LED-driver only gets triggered every 300 ms. We would like to achieve a very smooth low ouput from our LED (yellow) over the full duration of the trigger-impulse.
We would like to use the flexible mode but didn’t get it to work yet with the irregular pulses. How can we achieve this while still remaining a fast activation and deactivation speed?
Pink: shows the ADim-Channel that’s always on => Is directly connected to the TPS922055
Purple / Blue: shows the PWM-Signal while triggered. Between each trigger-impulse it is set to send a 150 ns long pulse every 50 ms to not activate the standby => Is directly connected to the TPS922055
Yellow: the signal comes from a Photodiode that shows the brightness of the LED
Green: it is labeled as clock and represents the wanted trigger behavior
Thanks a lot
