TPS22950: Confirmation of the issue about Vin exceeding the operating range

Tool/software:

The Max recommended operating range for Vin is 5.5V.
Will exceeding this value (not exceeding the absolute maximum rating of 6V) cause any problems?

    Hi Takeuchi-san,

    Crossing the max recommended spec but staying within the abs maximum limit should not cause any damage to the device but some functionality may gets affected (like ron value, reliability numbers, etc)

    It will be best to test the device at the customer's end in this scenario. 

     May I know the operating voltage and current and any specific protection feature requirement and I can check if there is any other better suitable part for this application.
