Hello,

I'm trying to connect to my PCB (with IC BQ79612) but I get this message using GUI. 

It's not updating the firmware when I enter BSL mode. The only solution I see right now is to add the Firmware 3.1.1.14 myself with the FirmwareLoader but I cannot find this file anywhere.

Could you provide me this file or guide me with another solution please?

    Hi Abbas,

    Please follow the directions in the BQAutoEval GUI User's Guide. You can find the User's Guide here: BQ79616-Q1 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com. This will instruct you on how to update the USB2ANY firmware.  Section 1.1.3 has more information on this topic, including where to find the USB2ANY firmware loader. If you have any trouble please feel free to ask another question here.

    Hi ,

    Thank you for your answer. I just got access to the folder with the needed file, so the issue is solved.

    I recommend you  to update the document because it was not clear how to get this file and it occurred to many users..

    Solution: request access to BQ7x61x-Q1 development files on TI website, once it's granted you can find it in your secure resources
