UCC25600: how to use open loop about UCC25600

Part Number: UCC25600

Tool/software:

I tried adjusting the compensator, but when I start scanning my loop, it always affects the output voltage.

Because my output voltage is 580V, I want to try scanning using the open-loop method. How can I adjust the UCC25600 to achieve open-loop output?

  • Hello,

Your inquiry is under review and I will get back to you shortly.

  • Hello,

You should be able to do this by disconnecting the opto and using a NPN transistor with a bias supply to adjust the RT charging current.

The following schematic below is how you would implement this.   You could start be setting the resistor from the NPN emitter to ground to the same value as R1.

Thank you for interest in Texas Instruments (TI) products.  If you have a related question, please click the "Ask a related question" button in the top right corner. The newly created question will be automatically linked to this question.
