Hirano-san,
We do not have a PSPICE model for this part. We would be able to provide an EVM if needed for evaluation.

Timothy,
I can not find an EVM for TPS1HTC100-Q1 on TI web site.
Do you have the EVM that is not made public?
Best regards,
K.Hirano
Hello,
We are developing the EVM currently and will have it out by the end of the year, however currently what we do is use the TPS1HTC30EVM and solder on a TPS1HTC100-Q1 device as they are pin to pin.

Tim,
My customer plans to verify the inrush current immediately after switching on the high-side switch by simulation rather than EVM evaluation.
Is there a spice model with the same characteristics as the TPS1HTC100-Q1?
Best regards,
K.Hirano
Hirano-san,
We do not have a device with similar characteristics with a model that would be able to be used here. We can run simulations through our modeling team for specific inrush events and operating conditions.

Tim
Tim,
This time, my customer would like to perform a simulation using Spice instead of an EVM evaluation.
What they want to check is the magnitude of the inrush current when the output is turned on.
Looking at the TPS1HB50-Q1 data sheet, the on resistance is lower and the slew rate is about the same compared to the TPS1HTC100-Q1. Can you logically say that the inrush current obtained by simulating the SPISE model of TPS1HB50-Q1 is greater than the inrush current of TPS1HTC100-Q1?

Hirano-san,
They are different devices and would have different current limit characteristics. The HBxx device family would implement an immediate shut-off current scheme when the current limit is hit and the HTCxx device would regulate the current limit at the set level until a thermal fault occurs. If the slew rate is the only thing that is relevant though, the HBxx device could be used.

Tim
