Dear TI,

We have query for below circuit. Kindly confirm VISNS capacitor C value.

we are using C 150pF/50V at VISNS pin. input 8V to 24VDC, 38V 400ms load dump pulse.

output : 36V, 1000mA or 800mA  LED Load

output : 6V, 1000mA or 800mA  LED Load

    Hi Hitainder,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Normally, there is no capacitor needed at VISNS pin. you can connect it directly to Vin with a 2k resistor.

    But you can keep a footprint for this capacitor in case it is needed later.

    Hello Moritz,

    Thanks for putting a quick remark here.

    Just to be precise in query here, customer want to know since they have used 150pF capacitor at VINS pin which is a Feedback pin for output voltage, do you see any challenge with the selected value may be in terms of delay being produced at output to rise or so?

    Also, if you have better suggestion here on choice of cap. value, do customer know on this as well?
