TPS62827: Do not leave enable pin floating ?

Part Number: TPS62827

Tool/software:

Sir

We are planning to make the TPS62827 on by enable pin only (VIN power up before EN high, EN is not sourced from VIN but from additional I/O power)

As mentioned in the datasheet, “Do not leave enable pin floating”

We intended to connect a pull-down resistor about 100kohm to EN to avoid floating in any situations.

Does it make any sense to connect a pull-down resistor?

Or what is your suggestion? If the EN floating is not allowed.

Thanks

Regards

Ben
