Hello,
I use TPS611781RNWR to convert the voltage of two Lithium-Ion cells (7.2V) to 12 V.
I have the following schematics (based on W-Bench):
For the load I attached 16 Ohm resulting in current of 0.72 A.
When I connect the batteries while no load is attached, the output voltage looks fine, and continues working after attaching the load.
When I connect the same load before attaching the batteries, the output voltage is at ~1.1 x Vin, and I can hear noise.
Green is Vin and Yellow is Vout:
The time between each peak is about 1.7ms.
I also measured the SW pin: Vout is yellow, SW is green:
Any idea on how to debug/solve this?
