Tool/software:
Please review schematics below. This is mainly for exposing DisplayPort via USB-C connector. No need to support high power PDs.

Hi Ciaran,
Have you generated a project using the following tool: https://www.ti.com/tool/TPS6598X-CONFIG ? I do not see any files attached here.
Best Regards,
Aya Khedr
Hi Aya,
No I was not aware of the tool and planned to used the same file as the EVM. Can I do that?
Looking at this guide it calls for "USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM" but it seems obsolete and not available to buy anywhere?
Rgds,
Ciarán
Hi Ciaran,
You will need to use the GUI tool to configure the device's registers to align with your design requirements. The tool can then generate a binary file which is then used for flashing.
I suggest watching the GUI tutorial videos on how to get started. Also refer to the GUI user guide here.
Please let me know if you have additional questions/concerns.

Aya Khedr
Hi Aya,
Having looked at the videos it sound like I can program the SPI flash in circuit using some USB to SPI adapter. Can you recommend one that works with the GUI please? I noticed "FTDI" was selected in the demo video but I'd prefer to use a known good cable adapter.
thanks
Ciarán
Hi Ciaran,
We have used the Total Phase Aardvark adapter during internal development. This would work with the GUI as well.
