    Hi Peter, 

    Thank you for reaching out via E2E and providing feedback. We will work to make an addition to the FAQ page to clarify the difference between the E and non E version of the device. 

    To answer your question the BQ25628E does not have OTG mode functionality and because of this pin 3 is '/PG' (power good status indicator) instead of PMID_GD. All other pin functions are unchanged between the BQ25628 and BQ25628E. Therefore, if you have no requirement for OTG boost mode operation I recommend selecting the BQ25628E over the BQ25628.
