TPS54218: Looking for drop-in replacement for DC-DC converter like TPS54218RTET/TPS54218RTER

Thanks for the quick reply. I see a few parts with Higher current ratings. Which are drop-in replacement of below parts. 

1.  TPS54218RTET

2. TPS54218RTER

These parts are 

Please correct me if I am wrong. Along with that may I know the life cycle (For coming how many years this part is in production) of Current solution and drop-in replacement parts.

Hi Kapil,

You are right, the higher current parts TPS54318 and TPS54418 belong to the same family of device and can be used. There is currently no EOL planned for these parts.

If this is for a new project, I would recommend to use the newer parts I recommended. They would have better performance and supply.

Hi Kapil,

I checked internally and it is not planned to stop the production of these parts as of now. In case such a decision is made in the future customers are usually given a last time buy option for their running projects.
