TPS61021A: EN goes low during Vout rising

Hi Team,

If EN goes low for a short period while Vout is rising, will this cause the device to malfunction (stopping, oscillating, etc.)?

Please see the attached waveform for detail.

- EN goes low for a short period while Vout is rising. This time is about 35 us.

- When EN goes low, Vout becomes flat for a certain period of time. This time is about 100 us.

<Conditions for use>
Vin=3.0V
Vout=3.3V
Iout=250mV

There'll be no oscillation. The device shut down when EN flips low, so the IC stop outputting current and Vout stay unchanged.

The flat is a normal behavior

Do you mean that it is no problem to control EN to Low for short period during Vout rising?

Hi Atsushi san,

The IC will stop for a while if you control EN to Low for short period. But this will not damage the IC.
