TPS25980: CSA certification

Hi experts,

Our customer, Fisher & Paykel Technologies is currently evaluating solutions to fulfill end-product requirements for a project that will be marketed in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The TPS259803ONRGER appears promising for their application; however, they noticed that it lacks CSA certification.

 Could you please advise if there are any plans for TI to pursue CSA certification for this part?

    Hi Hung,

    This eFuse have UL2367 and IEC62368 certificates. Can you ask them if these will work. These are the standard certificates which are generally used for this product category (current limiting solid state solution)

    Can you share which exact certificate they are demanding  and some resources (if any). We do not have any plan for CSA certificate as such but it will be better for our awareness so that we can plan things for future.
