Hi team,

I have a customer that's wanting to look into a couple recommendations for a battery protection IC / Cell balancer that's been tested with the BQ25792. This would need to work with 3 Li-Ion cells. Customer formerly used CW1244 (datasheet) to add a bit of context; willing to move on from it to keep using BQ25792 if we have a better recommendation.

    Hello Marco,

    If they will be using a MCU in their system, I would also recommend the BQ76905 or BQ77307. The BQ76905 is a monitor/protector and balancer, the BQ77307 is a programmable protector, that would require to be used with a MCU.

    Otherwise, the BQ77915 protector is the best protector solution that also implements cell balancing.
