TPS25810: resisters in-line with CC pins

Hello,

Is it acceptable to add 100 ohm resistors in series with CC lines with TPS25810?

We are seeing noise coming from USB-C negotiation chip in the cable.

Hi Keith,

If Ra is detected on one of the CC pin (not connected to UFP), VCONN is applied to allow current to flow from IN2 to the CC pin connected to Ra. I do not recommend adding a resistor to the CC lines as it will most likely result in a large voltage drop.
