Does this power mux can be used to switch to the higher priority supply at VIN1 and parallel the switch has an enable to shutdown/Hi-Z the output ?
The "diode mode" looks interesting but the problem is that in this mode the mux decides the higher voltage from both VIN to switch to the output.
In our design the main supply is connected to VIN1 and if this one is switched off it should be switchover to VIN2(battery). In our case the battery can have a higher voltage level (max. 4.2V LiPo).
The main Power has ~3,9V fixed.
And our designs needs to set an enable to this switch because we are also using an alternative standby supply which is working separately.
Is for this constellation the TPS2117 a choice and I miss something from the additional truth table ? Or should I look after an alternative article ?
Maybe you can offer me an alternative.
