DCP020515D: Incorrect voltages +15/-15

Hi Ash,

Thank you for designing with the device.  Could you please elaborate more about the issue? Bout the O/P being out of spec, was it higher or lower than 15V, and what exactly did you read?

Did you notice the following paragraphs of the datasheet?   You should add have at least 10% load.  If your output can have 0A load, you should add a dummy load.

I do not have 0A load. please see the full schematic attached.

I need to provide +15 and -15 v to my audio amp at all times.

So, what voltages did you get, and what is your load current or impedance?

Is your output ground the same as the input ground?  If so, you need to connect the COM pin to GND.

I was getting + 0.64 and -0.34. That's the max I was able to get. Is this chip capable of O/P +-15v irrespective of load (just so i can eliminate this). 

yes, O/P Gnd and input GND is the same. I can simply try and solder the COM to gnd and test. I will test this and report back to you.

Thanks.  Please try that.  To answer your other question: the total max load is 133mA.  If the loads split evenly, each output can support up to 66.5mA.
