Hi Taku,

There is no difference in degradation over time/use between these devices. They are however different devices with different specs. Please the one according to your application.

Are the electrodes plated? We are concerned about solder cracks due to thermal shock.

Hi Taku,

You can find packaging information on the datasheet or ti.com.

As for thermals, as long as you stay below the recommendations on the thermal table there should be no problem. Good layout is important for thermals, please use the guideline in our datasheet to design the board. You may also look at the EVM as an example.
