TPSM63603EVM: TPSM63606 not giving +6.3V as per application circuit

Dear Sir/Madam,

we have design and develop TPSM63606 circuit which provide +15V to +5V output but it is not working giving expected output +6.3V .

it is showing output as +1.7V in 2 hardware pcb .

how can I change output from +1.7V to +6.3V?

Hi,

Can you check if your power supply is being limited?

Where is SW and VCC going on your schematic?

Hi sir ,

I had given +15V /10mA and consumption is only 1 mA .

SW and VCC are open track .

Hi Tapajit,

Can you check if your FB resistor values are correct?

Try adding a 2A load to output and allow for your input current to be at least 1A so it doesn't get limited.

Your schematic looks okay.

Hi Rahit sir,

Thanks you for suggestion it is working now , we are getting 6.3V as expected .

can you please suggest any other alternate buck converter that generate output voltage without adding any load . or can it be possible using TPSM63606 without any load .

Hi Tapajit,

I suspect it to be because of bad layout. You can confirm by modifying out EVM to test under same conditions. If you wish to respin the board, please follow layout guidelines in the datasheet. You can also look at the layout of our EVM as an example as well.
