Dear TI Engineer,

We plan to use TPS23754 to achieve 25W(12V/2.25A) POE power supply for our new product, but due to the height limitation, we cannot select the TPS23754EMV-383 reference design transformer. The transformer height in the reference design is about 12.5cm, while our product requires a height not exceeding 8cm.

Therefore, we have selected a new transformer, but there are significant differences between it and the one in the reference design.The pins of the transformer are as follows:

Can you give us some suggestion about the circuit design about the transformer?

    I did not find off-the-shelf 25W transformers with 8mm or less height. I can help you connect with a PoE transformer vendor experts like Wurth, Linkcom, Coilcraft if you want.
