LMZ12003: VIN short to Vout, or SS

Hi sir

I use the LMZ12003 to be the power board for FPGA

it's short between Vin & Vout, when apply the 6 v to the VIn of LMZ12003 when no load,

does it need a Dummy load in back of the LMZ12003? thanks

Could you explain about “it's short between Vin & Vout”? And please check your footprint from pin1-7 is correct. Thanks.

power on the device, then the Vin & Vout short to ground, we already get 11 pcs fail, below is the R table

the pcb is old design with LMZ12003, recently we bought a reel , damage offen, did you get the same info?

Hi Alex,

You mean the design is OK in the past but recently the device often damage. If so, you can submit a CPR request here.
