Hi,

I am using BQ2057WSN for my project. Please  find the schmatic below.

When I am connecting battery, Q2 is heating up and reaches up to 60 deg.

    Hello Sankar,

    Can you clarify what the conditions are? Do you have a load after R26 so the body diode is heating the MOSFET? This is a linear charger so Q2 should heat up during charge.

    What is the current flowing through Q2? What is VBAT and DC+ voltage?
