TPS5430: Derivation and interpretation of closed loop transfer function

Could I ask a question, what do the closed-loop transfer functions and the individual factors of the TPS5430 relate to when I know these factors?

Could you explain how this formula came from?

Hi Tony,

That would be the transfer function of the type 3 compensator.

The device has a fixed operating frequency, so you can design the compensator around the desired crossover frequency for that switching frequency. The datasheet made those choices for you.
