Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using TPS92641 for their next products.

At this moment, they have the following questions.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
The customer wants to drive LED which has total Vf=12V with 12A.
Can TPS92641 drive this LED?
How much current can TPS92641 drive as the maximum?

Q2.
If you know more suitable LED drive for this LED driving,
could you please let me know?

    Hi Kazuya,

    Yes. TPS92641 can drive this LED.

    There is no exact limitation on how much current TPS92641 can drive as this will depend on lots of factor including the selection of MOSFET, your circuit / system design, etc. Normally I would say 20A - 30A is the maximum output current capability of TPS92641 / TPS92640.
