Part Number: BQ25820

Tool/software:

Hi, Team

Customer is evaluate our BQ25820, they have a question as below:

in our datasheet page60, there is a typical SCH, if customer didn't use mosfet Q1/Q2/Q3 in this SCH, how to handle the 5 pin "ACN,ACP,ACDRV,BATDRV,BATSRC"?

Could u help to share comments?

Thanks.

  • Hello GW,

If Q1/Q2 are removed they should be replaced with a diode for reverse current protection, and ACDRV should be left floating

If Rac_sns is not used, ACN/ACP should be tied to VAC.

If Q3 is not used, leave pins floating.

    Best Regards,

    Christian.
