How do we decide "LMAG, RPAR, CPAR, LMAG2, RPAR2, LMAG3, and RPAR3" defined in TPSF12CX-MATHCAD nanocrystalline model?

I just uderstood we could refer to follwing link;

However, the link includes a lot of equivalanet circuit model and I am not sure which parameters shown in the link are corresponding to "LMAG, RPAR, CPAR, LMAG2, RMAG2, LMAG3, and RMAG3" shown in "TPSF12CX-MATHCAD". Could you navigate that?

Hi Ochi-san,

Yes, use the Excel design tool for both ferrite and nanocrystalline chokes. Part 2 of that article series describes ferrite choke modeling.

In terms of the nanocrystalline model, as described in part 3 of the article series, Lmag, Rpar model the low-frequency impedance. Then Lmag2 and Rmag2 model the second shallower slope of the impedance curve. Finally, Cpar provides the resonanace and subsequent rolloff.

If you have an impedance curve for a choke, I can provide the model parameters.
