Please let us know if this part can be used along with LTC4365IDDB#TRMPBF for 5V input. The recommended part in ltc datasheet is below but the part is obsolete. I simulated in LTspice using CSD17506Q5A and found it to be ok for 10A load.I have attached the image of the simulation. Please let us know if we can use this TI mosfet for Vin of 5V and looad current of 10A.

    Hello Prema,

    Thanks for the inquiry. For this application,you should choose a FET with Rds(on) specified at VGS ≤ 3V. This is because the minimum specified gate drive voltage = 3V for Vin = Vout = 5V in the LTC4365I datasheet. The CSD17506Q5A has Rds(on) specified at VGS = 4.5V & VGS = 10V and may not work in this application. You should consider 2 x  CSD13202Q2, 12V FET in 2x2mm SON package. Estimated conduction loss at VGS = 3V, ID = 10A & T = 75°C is about 1.2W per FET. This device has abs max VGS = +/-8V and you need to make sure not to exceed abs max VGS or the FET may be damaged.
