LMR51435: Does working with over 80% duty cycle cause damage to this device?

Dear TI expert,

i want to use LMR51435 design one DC-DC, the input volage is 24V, the output voltage is 20V3A, but the duty cycle is 83%, does working with 83% duty cycle cause damage to this chip?

    Hi,

    This part has a maximum duty cycle of 97% per datasheet section 6.6:

    There should be no risk in operating the device with 24 VIN to 20 VOUT. You can refer to application section 8 of the datasheet for further guidance on designing the appropriate circuit for your application with this IC.
