UCC14241-Q1: Is UCC14241-Q1 possible to use for explosion proof equipment(24V⇒3V 0.4A)

Part Number: UCC14241-Q1

Tool/software:

Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering UCC14241-Q1 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

---

I am thinking about using it for explosion-proof equipment.

IEC 60079-11:2011 is used for the standard required distance between the primary and secondary power supplies.

I am thinking of using Vin 24V → Vout 3V, Iout 0.4A.

The standard value of 30V will be used, so the following specifications are required.

Can the UCC14241-Q1 satisfy the following specifications?

(Between pins) Insulation clearance: 2.0mm
(Between pins) Creepage clearance: 2.0mm
(Inside IC) Insulation clearance: 0.2mm

I think the insulation clearance between pins and the creepage clearance between pins are satisfactory, is it correct?

I was unable to confirm the insulation clearance inside the IC in the data sheet, could you please let me know.

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi
