Hi,

I'm looking into designing flyback circuit (isolated transformer) for PSE POE+ with following parameters:

1. Input voltage - Nominal 12V

2. Output voltage - 56V

3. Output current - 600mA

Can you please recommend the best reference design?

Hi,

I couldn't find a reference design with exactly the same parameters. However, I found PMP9446 which seems to be quite close to it,

What do you think? Can you please advice the required adjustments? Can you please share the datasheet for the used flyback transformer?

Hi Matan,

Thanks for checking our design library.
I agree that PMP9446 matches the specs quite well.
This design uses LM5022, but you can replace the controller with one of our more modern alternatives. I would recommend LM5155 for this.

For board adjustments, you might need to change the feedback resistor and compensation to match with the LM5155 device specs.
