Sorry, where do you get the IC TINA model?  I just see pspice model at TI.com.  

I downloaded the first one and used the .lib file for TINA.

I am afraid you cannot directly use Pspice's lib file for TINA.  There are some differences between them although they are both based on Spice. Let's wait for the responsible engineer to comment in the next couple of days.  However, I would suggest you to use Pspice, or the free tool of Pspice for TI.

Hi Caroline,

Which TI model files did you download?  I cannot open your file. Your circuit may not be archived correctly.

Please do the following in the order:

1. Download the model among the list for the device versions that you wish to simulate. (see the suffix of the part number, and choose one that matches your device selection).

2. Save the file to a folder that you want the model to be.

3. Extract all to the suggested folder.

4. Launch Pspice-for-TI, and open the Obj file.

5. See if you can simulate with the original setting.

6. After you can run, then you can modify the circuit for your application.

Please also read Pspice-for-TI training materials, for there are some important information to use Pspice-for-TI.
