CSD18540Q5B: thermal vias

CSD18540Q5B has a thermal pad on the bottom, but does not have any suggestion about thermal vias. Is this part not recommended to have thermal vias on PCB when mounting?

    Thanks for the inquiry. The attached PDF file includes datasheet images for the CSD88584Q5DC power block in 5x6mm SON and are applicable to the CSD18540Q5B. There is also a screen shot showing an example of via placement from a TI reference design, TIDA-010042 which uses the CSD18540Q5B. Below is a link to an application note on QFN and SON PCB attachment. See section 3.4.1 on page 7 for more details on thermal vias. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
